Hello all,

I am looking at using the memo option in the inventory records to record certain information.

I do not see anyway of having this information automatically pop up when an item is reviewed in the inquiry mode or the actual maintenance mode?

Can this memo field be used as the memos that are available in other modules? Will this possible change in the 4.4 release?

I was going to say, that the pop-up functionality and control of where it pops up should be in 4.4.

However,  when I went to verify it,  I can't seem to find the memo button in inventory maintenance?  Usually stuff like that ends up on the "More" button, but I don't see it there either.

Since the setup menu has Memo Manager Maintenance (which would relate to your original question), they must still be available.

Anyone manage to find the memos in 4.4?

Never mind.  Suddenly I see the memo button.

Guess it was temporary blindness.

So in answer to the original question, there is ability to control where memos pop up in inventory now, similar to A/R, A/P, G/L, etc. in 4.3.

Thank you for looking into this for me. So in the 4.4 upgrade, the ability to set inventory memos to always appear is available? It is just not available in any other version?
