missing division number in Recpt if Invoice

We upgraded our MAS 90 system from v4.3 to 4.4. Mostly no problems, but we have one issue that refuses to "come to heal." We have a small PO which was Goods-Received while v4.3. Its RoI now errs after the Receipt of Invoice Register with "A General Ledger account is missing for a division number."
We've been all through setups and cannot find any missing division or GL number. Another (more complex) PO that was RoG at the same time (v4.3), and then RoI now (in v4.4) went through without any problem.
Any ideas on what we're missing?

Perhaps the field APDivisionNo has no value in the receipt header data file?
Use DFDM to check.

My suggestion would be either look at the data in DFDM or extract to Excel and see if any fields are blank.

For the record, the error occurred only in RoI for one PO. We deleted batch and recreated it several times during the course of troubleshooting. It erred everytime -- so if the APDivNo was empty, something systemic was producing it.
We did finally fix it, but the solution was unsatisfactory. We twice ran Rebuild Key/Sort files for ap,po,im,so with the Integrity Check and Optimize File options enabled. Neither run showed any errors in the logs. After the 1st run, we deleted the batch and rereceived it; no change. Did the same thing a second time ... and it posted!
So, we're fixed, but not clear what happened.

I would have looked at the purchase order header and details. It is my guess something was wrong or bad there and it was being pulled into the Receipt files.
