Consider this: MAS 500 - Less updates. More Benefits.

You've told us that staying on top of frequent updates can be costly and time consuming. So, we have made changes regarding the “what and when” of our software update process.

The When:

MAS 500 has transitioned from monthly updates to product updates. The product updates are now less frequent (every 3-4 months), meaning less upgrading for our customers.

The What:

Product updates still include important issue resolutions, but also include feature enhancements. We want to provide ongoing value in our product updates with features and enhancements that our customers are asking for.

We recently posted the 2nd MAS 500 Product update for 7.3.  It contains these enhancements:

1)      A warning message appears during save if the current customer purchase order number is already being used by the same customer on a different sales order.   Do you ever have instances where a sales order is entered twice for the same customer PO?  Chances are you have entered a duplicate Sales order, and this new warning message will help.

2)      A new security event “Change Saved Sales Order to Quote” is now available in Enter Sales Orders and Quotes task. Using this new security event, MAS 500 system administrators can grant or deny permissions for this functionality to different user groups.   Accidental or unauthorized changes of a sales order back to a quote can be eliminated.

3)      Another new security event “Delete Customer” is now available in Maintain Customers task.  Previously any user could delete a customer record using Maintain Customers task in Accounts Receivable.  Help prevent deletion errors by utilizing the new delete customer security event.

As we continue working on our next release for MAS 500, we will be including requested enhancements with each product update, providing benefits and less frequent updates for improved customer value.

Less can be More!
