If you read this article, you are one of many people that use the internet to learn more about your Sage MAS product. As more and more people share their knowledge through postings on social media sites, the “public” knowledgebase on anything relating to Sage MAS gets bigger and bigger.
Here are some links to sites that provide great information and insight for anyone that works with Sage MAS:
LinkedIn, the “facebook for professionals”, has a dedicated discussion group for Sage MAS 90 and 200: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1644357&trk=myg_ugrp_ovr. Sage MAS users, consultants and Sage staff contribute to discussion and answer questions. For example, a recent discussion on PCI compliance – a “must read” for anybody that processes credit card payments: http://tinyurl.com/32j472f. You need to sign up with LinkedIn, which is free, and become a member of this group before you can access the discussions.
Many Sage MAS solution providers maintain their own blog. For example, DSD’s blog recently included a great article about the upcoming Sage MAS 200 SQL release: http://www.dsdinc.com/blog/?p=145. Solution providers also publish newsletter that you can sign up for and receive by email. Brainsell’s newsletter recently included a great article about FRx and how to prepare for replacing it: http://www.brainsell.net/downloads/newsletters/brainsell_mas90_news_may10.pdf
Last, but definitely not least, is Wayne Schulz and and his many on-line contributions. He is a very active participant in the Sage MAS 90 community and a regular poster on forums.
