Is there a way to classify an item in a bin so that it cannot be seen by replenishment?

We use a bin to hold returned items that we do not plan to return to inventory.  Currently, replenishment still sees these items and considers them as inventory.  Is there a way to “hide” returned items in a bin so that they are not counted/seen by replenishment?

Have you tried to set up that bin in the "IM\Maintenance\IM Setup\Set Up Bins" to "Exclude from available"?

Yes, we have done that and it makes it unavailable to pick, but the replenishment calculation still sees it as "in stock".

I don't think bins can resolve this for you, but I think you could set up a warehouse that isn't in the replenishment tree and put the bins in that warehouse.
