Question about entering a new Purchase Order / defaults?

I'm a total MAS n00b so be gentle...
I have a user in Purchasing who wants to be able to have his name come up by default when creating a new PO. Can this be done either by creating a customized menu, or perhaps through add-ons or something?

I realize this isn't a very hardcore technical question, but I do want to be helpful to my co-workers in Purchasing, you know.
Can I tell my user that this is pretty much not possible? Or is this something I could get assigned to his username? I've been looking around under User Properties and I can't figure it.
He basically just wants his name to come up under Buyer to save him some time...

It's a little tiny issue that probably won't get implemented or changed, ever, but it's still an interesting question in my mind...
