Is there a way to go directly to the vendor payment application explorer, without drill in through another explorer?  Perhaps creating a shortcut?

Go run Task Editor.  If you don't know where it is run it from Help (search for Task Editor).

The Launch Type is .Net Standard, Module is Business Insights - Explorer, SQL View is vdvVendorPaymentAppl.

You should be able to add an existing explorer view to the MAS 500 menu by doing the following:

1. Right-click the folder on the menu that you want to add the explorer view to.
2. Choose "Create New Task -> MAS 500 Task".
3. Module: Business Insights - Explorer
4. Choose the explorer view that you want to add

You could also use System Manager/Maintenance/Maintain Business Insights Views/Context Menu to make your change.
