Good morning,

Although I have already submitted this question to Sage support, I’m curious if any MAS 500 IT folks have encountered this scenario yet.  We need to upgrade our MS Exchange server very soon, and we’re planning to upgrade to MAS 500 Version 7.4 shortly thereafter, around the first week of December. But, I’m hoping MAS 500 Version 7.20.23.0 document transmittal will work
with MS Exchange 2010 in the interim. Please let me know if you have any insight on the matter.

Why wouldn't it?  Exchange support SMTP so it should be no biggie.

Good question! - Sage support said that they're fairly sure that it is NOT compatible, but they are looking into it for me.  This is why I'm curious if anyone has enountered this scenario yet.  I don't like surprises and our customers are in the habit of receiving auto-emails from our MAS 500 system.

Do you use it in SMTP mode or in the Exchange mode?  I could see it having problems with the Exchange mode but a problem with SMTP would be odd.  I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of security issues but SMTP should work.

Did you upgrade and did it work for you? It is not working for us.
