I heard that support for WA has been pushed back to Scanco (who of course wants to sell us a separate support plan). So then who gets the maintanace renewal - Sage or Scanco? Called in to Sage and the rep is "checking into it"...

As of April 1, Scanco assumed all responsibility for on-going development and support of the Warehouse Automation and LabelXpert modules. Any maintenance renewals for these modules will be handled by Scanco. If you currently have a maintenance plan with Sage any cost associated with the WA or LX modules will be deducted from your next renewal, so you will not be double-billed for this.
The following is an excerpt of the e-mail notification Sage distributed announcing this change to WA customers on March 9, 2010:
SUPPORT CONTACT – Customers with existing support contracts will continue to be supported by Scanco without interruption. For plans expiring after March 31, 2010, Scanco will process renewals of support plans for Warehouse Automation and LabelXpert modules. Scanco offers one support plan that includes unlimited support cases, priced at 20% of list price.
Hope this helps,
Sr. Product Manager
