We would like to change the credit hold check box in Accounts Receivable - Customer Maintenance to Y (or checked) for all new customers.  Any help would be greatly appreciated (MAS90 V4.2)

Yes, you should be able to do this using the Advanced Field Settings in Custom Office.

Thanks for the suggestion - did not know about Advanced Field Settings!!  Found some videos on AFS very interesting.  Unfortunately, credit hold is a locked field and defaults to N.  Any other suggestions would be great.

Interesting, same issue in 4.30 but in 4.40 you can change the default to Y. 

As an alternative, thought maybe you could have a template customer created with their Credit Hold ckbox enabled, and "copy from" this customer when creating new customers, but the ckbox setting doesn't copy.
