Creating a shadow table in UDT Maintenance

I've spent the morning trying to find out how to create a UDT that shadows AR_Customer.  I watched both of Steve Malmgren's videos where he showed that it had been done, but neither of them showed how it was done.  I searched the Partner File Center, Sage Software Online, and this forum, but could not find the details of how to accomplish this.  I called support and the analyst wasn't able to give me what I'm looking for.  Can someone please help me and let me know where I can find the steps to setup a UDT that shadows the AR_Customer file.

Thanks.

Assuming you have installed the demo files, then look in the AR_Customer_bus.vbs.  The PostDelete and PostWrite parts have what you need.

He also has a script tied to a button to do the initial mirroring.  It is found in BT_SyncCustomerShadow.vbs.

Re: Creating a shadow table in UDT Maintenance

Gator,

Thanks for the response; however, I don't know what demo files you are referring to.  I searched my current MAS 90 4.4 directory and couldn't find the file you mentioned.  I also searched the KnowledgeBase and Partner File Center and didn't find anything that looked like what you mentioned.  Could you please tell me how I get the demo files you referred to.

Thanks.

Re: Creating a shadow table in UDT Maintenance

In the PFC, search for "4.4 customizer".
