Documentation Control on Sales orders

We are a unique manufacturing company which requiers the control of many different types of order docuements from Engineering, Quality and back to the end user or buyer.

 

Each phase of the order has requierments to submit for approval, acceptance or knowledge outline drawings, spare parts list, IOM manuals etc. Each transmittal to our customer is accompanied by a cover sheet

Once the order is completed and accepted from our Engineering department it moves to our production department which then uses a quality plan that has been put into place - at the completion of the order either all the quality documents need to be submitted to our customer or final data books prepared for shipment.

 

I am looking for the best way to control the flow of this needed information from our Sales group back to our customer while useing Sage. I am looking for any input from anyone.
