IM5 - Transaction Detail Lot/Serial field was in 4.30 Explorer but not in 4.40

My client was on 4.30 and had several Business Insights Explorer reports for inventory. The Item Transactions View used IM5 TransactionDetail along with IM1 ItemMasterfileand IMC Warehouse. They specifically needed to see the Lifo/Fifo/Lot/Serial# field.

They upgraded to 4.40.0.1 and the Item Transactions View now uses IM_ItemTransactionHistory, CI_Item, IM_Warehouse. The Lifo/Fifo/Lot/Serial# field is no longer available.

Is there any way to add a table (Im_LotSerialTransactionHistory) or does anyone know if this is planned to be put back in? I realize I could make a crystal report but they aren't happy about this option and would like to have the table available in Explorer.

Working as designed or 'oops'?

How about using the Lot/Serial Inquiry function in the IM - Main Menu?

Did you ever find a solution ? We notice that the ability to view/print Lot/Serial and customize reports with Lot/Serial is more difficult in 4.4.

How did your customer work around this ?
