Hey all:
I have a client that would like me to add a field to the inventory valuation report. He wants a dormula field for QTY on Hand in Sales untis of measure. For example they buy in pounds and sell in units so they would like two QTY in hand fields. One in the purchase UNIT of Measure and one in the Sales UOM.
Can anyone help? I tried to just take the QTY on Hand divided by the sales UOM but it did not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I just love this forum. I learn something new every time I get on here!

Maybe it would help if you pasted your actual formula and then explained what didn't work. That is, did it return an error? If so, what was it? Or did it return a value but it isn't correct? In which case, do you have an example of what it is returning & what you want it to return?

If you're using the "SalesUM" and "PurchasesUOM" field, you're just using the description (EA, DOZ, FT...etc).
Make sure you're using the "SalesUMFactor" and "PurchaseUMFactor" in your formula.
Also, I believe you would want to Multiply by the UM Factor, not Divide.
