Qualified question.

Mas90 3.71.  I have latest TTU and PR941 updates installed.

I have Crystal Reports that break down federal and state totals for W/H, Fica, State W/H, Medicare (with employee / employer contributions) - I made these for a reason because the stock ones didn't have all the detail we wanted - in case you're wondering.

I use SY0, PR22 and PR23 in one and in another I use SY0, PR22 and PR3.

PR22 allows me to see Medicarewithheld and Ficawithheld - but only one entry in the table.

Before    "Qualified (Form W-11)"   I was able to double that to get total Employer / Employee contributions or if listing singly, assume they were the same amount.

Now what do I do, especially for the report not using table PR3? (We have some PR clients with Qualified Employees.)

I see PR3 has QTDwagesEmployee(and)QTDwagesEmployerFica and Medicare but not calculated out like PR22 has.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Qualified question.

Reference the Qualified Field in the employee master file.   See http://sagemas.lithium.com/t5/Time-Tracking-and-Job-Cost/Can-t-find-the-field-corresponding-to-the-q...

Re: Qualified question.

Thanks - that shows checkbox in master.

I need a table where the EMPLOYEE AND EMPLOYER amounts are broke down for checks.

(which with Qualified will not be the same amounts anymore.)

[ Edited ]

Put a formula in your crystal report to zero out employer amounts if the box is checked.

To the best of my knowledge - PR3 is the only table that will show the differeing amounts - so if you don't use that,  you have to use program logic in the crystal report.

Due to the nature of the New Hire Act,  the employer amount must be -0- through the end of 2010.

Re: Qualified question.

I was assuming I could see the field for Qualified box checked or not in the Master File.

I got around to checking and in PR1 and PR3 I see NO such field. Am I missing something?

We are on 3.71 by the way.

I do see QTD and YTD subject to Employer and Employee Fica in PR3.  I am testing to see if amounts show up correct but nowhere do I see reference in Master to Qualified.

Thanks.

Re: Qualified question.

If you are on v3.71 I would check with your reseller or have them check with Sage to see if Payroll tax tables will still be issued when support for v3.71 ends.

Re: Qualified question.

No actually support for 3.71 ends 9/30/10 -- a little over 2 months away.  Tax table support ends then, too.  This also means no year end updates.

If you are still on 3.71, I would seriously consider upgrading.  Plus, Windows 7 isn't supported with that version, you're missing out on Paperless Office and Business Insights Explorer.  You don't have advanced scripting.  You're missing A LOT.
