EES MAS200/CRM integration

Hi there, Sorry if this is not right place for my thread. I'm new in this portal and not aware where I can post my questions related to the EES MAS200/CRM integrations. I have 3 questions: 1. Is there a way to synchronize new(custom) fields in MAS200 and SageCRM if they are in already synchronized tables(for example AR_Customer in MAS and Company in CRM, or SO_SalesOrderHeader in MAS and Orders in CRM)? 2. Is there a way to synchronize new(custom) tables in MAS and CRM? 3. Is there a way to create some automatic routines in MAS to do something in CRM database? For example we need to automatically create Opportunity in CRM Database when new sales order created in MAS90. Thanks in advance.

Re: EES MAS200/CRM integration

On #1 yes we have been able to sync UDFs to SageCRM via a SQL process.

On #2 I think you'd need to define what you mean by "custom tables".  Do you mean UDT's?

On #3 you should start in SageCRM and create an opportunity to flow to S/O, not in MAS S/O to create an opportunity.

Re: EES MAS200/CRM integration

Thank you for quick responce

On #1 yes we have been able to sync UDFs to SageCRM via a SQL process.

I mean developer added field(NOT UDFs). Where can I find detailed information about  "SQL process" you wrote?

On #2 I think you'd need to define what you mean by "custom tables". Do you mean UDT's?

I mean new table added in MAS90 via NOMADS->Dictionary->Maintenance

On #3 you should start in SageCRM and create an opportunity to flow to S/O, not in MAS S/O to create an opportunity

Unfortunately my problem is that, that my client wants to create SO from MAS90 and wants to see that SO in CRM. But in CRM we cannot create SO without opportunity. So for this reason I'm thinking that it may be possible to create new opp(with some default fields) and attach it to new created SO.

Re: EES MAS200/CRM integration

I too am interested in syncing UDF fields, can you provide an example? Here is our scenario:

We have UDF fields defined for source (source of lead) and market segment (e.g. high school football) in MAS AR_Customer and SO_SalesOrderHeader

When we promote a prospect to a customer we would like to copy the source and market to the AR_Customer record.

When we create a quote or order we would also like the source and market to be transferred to the SO_SalesOrderHeader record.

Is this possible with the SQL solution, and how do we accomplish it?

Thanks.

Re: EES MAS200/CRM integration

There is no detailed process write up online because this process was developed by us, not by Sage.  We use SQL Server to update fields in CRM through a nightly process.  I don't think this is supported by Sage but for the customer we were working with, these UDFs were very important and they wanted them in CRM.

Re: SEES MAMMAS/CRM integration

I was hoping there was a modification to the SAGE SEES integration what allowed the adding of these fields. A nightly process would not work for us since the correct order source and type need to be recorded during data entry.

Thank you.

Re: SEES MAMMAS/CRM integration

Adding UDFs to SageCRM tables is currently not supported by the existing EES integration.
Circumventing the integration logic  - and directly pushing data to the SQL tables in SageCRM - can be tricky: it would be up to the transfer logic to enforce the business rules of both MAS and SageCRM systems that guarantee data integrity.
