Sage MAS 90 and 200 Extended Enterprise Suite

First time to use this forum.  Hoping to obtain an answer here others can reference...

We have a client that uses Customer Memos to provide discounting information during the Sales Order process.  When launching SO Entry directly from MAS the Memo pops up, no problem.  When initiating the process via CRM as their newly implemented Workflow dictates, the Memo DOES NOT pop up.

MORE INFO:

- Using AR Divisions to alter default Salesperson behavior when launching Quotes / Orders from CRM.

- EES v1.3 SU 15, CRM 6.2.c.3

Any information to assist with this issue is much appreciated.

Welcome to the Sage Summit.  WAD! It is working as designed. Bet you didn't want to hear that. Because code is calling the data entry panel other features such as the Memo popups are not active. We use SalesLogix and call the Sales Order Data Entry panel from inside SLX, same thing. You will most likely need a master developer to change things for you.

Thanks BigLouie, just found out EES 1.4 will include the ability to manually launch the Memos, though automatic pop-up will still not function.  No definitive answer on this yet.

WAD = Working As Designed... learn something new every day.  Will need to remember that when using these forums.

I understand that it is as designed.  Has anyone found a do-fer?

Can pop-ups be created on CRM Companies?

Can a script button be created to check for SO pop-ups once in SO Entry?

This should be fixed in version 4.50.  There were a few things problematic with CRM in 4.40:

- Paperless Office doesn't show settings

- Can't see custom form codes when printing.

- If the user is using side-by-side view the salesperson is grayed out

- Memos do not pop up when launching sales order from CRM

Regarding the memos, Sage told me that the "workaround" is to manually click the memos button on the screen to view memos.  I think that's a silly workaround, but they won't fix it until 4.5.

It seems you are telling me that we should currently be able to access the memo's once SO Entry is opened from CRM.  At this point, all the icons to the right of the SO # are grayed out & inaccessible.

Hello, any update on this? I have a test 4.50 & CRM 7.10 and still not Memo Pop Ups. Just looking to see if there's anything I'm missing. Thanks,

Sage has it listed as being fixed in 4.50.
