When emailing an Invoice is there a way to send a message as part of the email that is not embedded on the invoice?

You can setup the default email text there.

Is there a way to have a non default message, one that can be customized for each email depending on the response you want to send.

Select the Electronic Delivery icon to the right of the Paperless Office Output dropdown, then click the Edit Message button in the Electronic Delivery window.

If you just need to email an invoice on a one at time basis, preview the invoice then you can click on the export envelope icon.  Choose Adobe as the format and MAPI as the application.  This will allow you to use your Outlook address book and enter email text on the fly.
