We would like to use the PO req module for shop floor employees to request MRO type items that are not stocked in our inventory. We would like to have the req come to purchasing electronically and then have purchasing do the buying and issue the PO# to the vendor. Does anybody know how to do this?

MAS90. We are just trying to implement a system to buy shop supplies that can be requisitioned from someone on the floor through MAS90 and then sent to purchasing electronically to order them from the vendor and issue the PO number.

That makes more sense.
You are trying to create a purchase recquisition system to feed in to MAS 90 P/O.
I guess the question becomes how do you envision them initiating the recquisition process?
Closest thing I've done to this is having someone enter the request into a purchase order then recquiring an approval process on the purchase order before it can be printed and received against. Came up with a rather fancy version that had up to four approval levels and then used Knowledgesync to send out e-mail notifications of items requiring authorization.
Only certain users had the ability to authorize the p/o.
