Sage MAS Intelligence

I was recently told by someone at Sage that we should be able to keep FRx installed with MAS 500 version 7.4 until we are able to convert all FRx reports to MAS Intelligence. If you have experience in this area, please confirm whether or not you think this will be an issue. Thanks for your help.  ...Kendra

Hi, I can confirm that FRx Desktop will work fine with MAS 500 7.40; I have it installed and have been using it for a while. The issues you need to be aware of is that FRx is not supported on a 64bit OS (server is okay if only the Sysdata is on the server). It is also not supported on Windows 7 unless you have Service Pack 11. Since you will be testing the conversion from 7.20 to 7.40 for MAS, I would recommend that you also install FRx 6.7 SP11 and test that on the same server/client that you will be using after go live. However, we have not had any "catastrophic" issues reported for FRx, nor have we changed anything in the GL structure in 7.40 that FRx uses.

We upgraded from 7.2 to 7.4 in July.  We moved to a 64 bit environment at the same time and have not had any issues.  Good luck with your upgrade!
