I'm trying to import from Access through ODBC the folllowing item (B1234) with 2 components (C1) & (C2) to BOM no option with MAS 90 Visual Integrator, and I'm getting this result in log file,
Detail Report
FIELD NAME
RECORD: 0000000001 RECORD WRITTEN B1234 000
BILL_NUMBER
BILL_REVISION
BILL_TYPE
CURRENT_REV
PRNT_COMP
DESCRIP_1
*MAIN_BILL_BLNKS EXPRESSION YES
*ROUTING_NUM
*HAVE_OPT
*OPT_INT
*OPT_CATS
RECORD: 0000000002 RECORD WRITTEN B1234 000 -00043909
ITEM_CODE
LINE_TYPE
COMP_REV_CODE
QTY_PER_BILL
* Denotes fields were Validated from existing data.
after checking the BOM inquery in Mas 90, the bill number is there with description, but no component are added in the detail.
Strange thing also, Im not able to delete the added bill , and if I go to next bill and try to come back to B1234 I get "Error 47 in program BMWMAA at line 15025"
i set up the Record tab
Component line
Field = 8 BM2.Bill MaterialsDetail.ComponentRevisionCode
Start = 1
lenght = 1
Equal =
value * (also tried 000 but no result)
please note,
B1234 is a new bill Im trying to add,
ComponentRevisionCode in BM2 has 2 values 000 for C1 and * for C2
Im assuming i have a prob in settting up the record Tab,, but not sure how to do it,
since im not a programmer and very new in VI,
Thank you for any comment and help
