Unit Cost in Receipt of Goods

My unit costs in receipt of goods is defaulting to something way off.  Have checked inventory pricing of this item and all is well.  It only changes after I insert the number of units.  How to fix and why is defaulting to this crazy overstated number?

Re: Unit Cost in Receipt of Goods

Welcome!

I hate to steal BigLouie's thunder, but you really have posted this in the wrong forum.

I think you would have better luck getting a response if you post this in the MAS90/200 "distribution, manufacturing, & internet" section.  (This is for MAS90/200, right?)

What inventory pricing did you check?   Problems like you describe tend to be because people have pricing schedules on file for the vendor & don't realize it.  You can look up vendor pricing from IM maintenance via the Vendors button & then choose the Pricing button.  (This is different from the Pricing button on the main IM maintenance screen.)

Unit of Measure Conversion sounds like the issue.

Check your setups in Inventory for your unit of measures (U/M Conversion Maintenance), then check Inventory Maintenance for your Standard and Puchase U/M for each item in question.

Double check the Purchase U/M on any P/O lines on the receipts in question.
