Hi,

When we try to open Invoice Data Entry under AP, the following exception occurs:

"Error #12: File does not exist (or already exists) File: FL0CAP.SOAError #12: File does not exist (or already exists)"

In doing a search, I cannot find the file FLOCAP.SOA.

The permissions all seem to be adequate and the Invoice Data Entry works under AR.

Any ideas?

Something I just noticed - I have two companies set up - it works in one company not the other. One company uses job cost, the other does not -

Also, it is a brand new install - version 4.5 on Windows 2003 server - all new data.

I believe FL is a Fixed Assets file.  Have you tried removing the Fixed Assets data for this company in Company Maintenance?

That is, of course, assuming you are not using the Fixed Assets module.

By the way, when the error appears, click the INFO button (if avail) to obtain further info about the error.

I somehow got passed that error - not sure at what point during the process - now I am getting this message when I try to go into Accounts Payable Invoice Entry "The program entered cannot be found .... AP_Invoice_bus"  then it stops. 

I clicked on the link you just posted to try and add then remove fixed assets - when I click on Fixed Assets Options I get this message "Sage Fixed Assets was not found on your system.  You must install and configure Sage Fixed Assets before setting up the Fixed Assets module." 

Well, I've reinstalled all the modules several times - Fixed Assets is there, I've checked in the company maitenance and it is there. I'm not sure why it says it is not.

I reinitialized the AP files and rebuilt the AP files for this company -

AP Invoice entry works find in my other company.  This is a new install (4.5) and I haven't input any data (except for payroll and general leger accounts  in either company -A/P was my first entires!  So frustrated!

The files you reinitialized are wiped out completely.

Is that what you were trying to do?

Oh this has turned into a mess - now I can even log into the server from the client "access denied."  I think I'll start all over from the beginning.  Thank you all for your help - I've been serching the knowledge base and have a few answers.  I will post a new message for my latest problem!
