Configuring Paperless Office email to use a GMAIL client

Hi,

 

Has anybody successfully setup paperless office forms to be emailed via gmail?  When I attempt to do so, I receive the following error (with or without 128 bit encryption enabled):

 

Error on 'SendMail'.

Although the thread has been silent for quite some time, I have successfully set up delivery of electronic forms through Google Apps using aspmx.l.google.com as the DNS address of the SMTP server.

Note: This will only deliver messages to other Google Apps accounts or gmail.com addresses.

Dawn is right, it seems Gmail requires StartTLS authentication to work with MAS90 and MAS200. However, there is an article in our KnowledgeBase about using Yahoo mail with MAS:

 

How to setup Email in Company Maintenance to use Yahoo

 

I've tested it and it seems that the only limitation is they will only allow 100 hourly emails per account. Other than that, it works fantastically.

 

Also, I highly encourage you to Vote on the Enhancement Request we have on our Ideas site to add additional SMTP Authentication options to MAS90 and MAS200.
