I have a client running MAS 4.30.18 , the new Windows 7 PC's (these were 32 bit) couldn't get the SAGE PDF Converter installed, I went throught the KB and used every resolution and nothing worked.
I installed MAS 90 4.40.6 on their server (still using 4.3, we are just doing testing with 4.40 right now) and ran the pdfinstaller under the MAS90\Home directory (the 4.40 install). I ignored the error it gave me, then renamed the "Amyuni PDF Converter" to "SAGE PDF Converter" in the printer listing.
Everything worked perfect then.
Just thought I'd share in case anybody else was at their wits end like me.

I had the same issue, so I bundled everything that the odf-converter needed to install from a 4.4 installation. Now I have a handy *.zip ready for whenever I need to do a 4.3 installation on a Win7 machine.

Great idea!
I wish SAGE would update this in there KB. Instead of spending 4+ hours trying to fix this, it would take 4 minutes.

Thanks!
Just for kicks and giggles here's a list of all the files you need for the install.
acfpdf.txt
acfpdfu.dll
acfpdfuamd64.dll
acfpdfui.dll
acfpdfuiamd64.dll
acXMLParser.dll
amyuni.inf
cdintf.dll
PDFInstall.exe
xmllite.dll
All the files come from \MAS\HOME directory except for xmllite.dll, which you can grab from any Win7 workstation, just do a file search for it.
I've only tested it in a few situations but it seemed to work everytime. It's probably not by the book by any means but it does work.
Also, I always find it useful to disable UAC, then run the pdfinstall.exe as administrator. Since I've done it this way I haven't had to rename the printer.

That's some good information there on the DLL's required to do this installation. Keep in mind on any 4.30 installation where Windows 7 is involved the first thing you want to do is verify you have Service Update 18 (minimum) and LM4046 Installed (at the Server) before running Workstation Setup locally on any Windows 7 or Server 2008 machine. On 4.40, this patch is included automatically in Product Update 2 and above.
UAC can definitely be a consideration when installing on Windows 7 or Server 2008 machines. Often, the Sage PDF Converter printer object will not install due to restrictions caused by the UAC. If this is the case, Disable UAC, Reboot, then re-run the workstation setup.
In some instances when the converter still will not install even after disabling UAC, This Article Provides Manual Installation Methods for the Sage PDF Converter in order of severity. Enjoy!

I have found that disabling UAC doesn't always work, and that sometimes you have to right click and select "Run as Administrator" in order to have the pdf printer installed correctly. That's mainly the case in 4.4 but I've been doing it in 4.3 out of habit.
I did an workstation setup on 9/23 where I basically did the same steps that are mentioned in Article D of your link. I didn't know there was a kb article for the various pdf converter installs. Good info!
