MAS90 4.10 on a Mac

Hi all.   Have a client that is going to be closing up shop.  They will be winding down operations over a period of a year or more.   They will be closing out their office.    The person that will be handling the bit of business for the wind down is a Mac user.   She would LIKE to be able to have it on her Mac so she doesn't have to have more than one computer.

Does anyone know if there is ANY way to get it to run on a Mac using something such as Bootcamp or Parallels.   It would NOT be for heavy use - simply to access info and do light work such as entering GL entries.    Since I am not a Mac person I have no way to test this out.

Thanks!

I don't know of any other way besides bootcamp.

If you have a Windows computer, you can run RDP on the Mac into the Windows machine.  I have a customer with a Mac and that's how they connect in from home.

I would say this would be the ideal way, but it sounded like they wanted to run it as a stand alone on the Apple.

Re: MAS90 4.10 on a Mac

I use MAS-200 EES 1.4 (MAS 4.4) on Parallels for my test environment and have no issues related to the environment. I have the server running on one VM and the client on another VM. Both VMs are running XP Pro.

I previously had MAS-90 EES 1.4 installed this way before we upgraded to MAS-200 and there were no issues because of it running in Parallels.
