We have a MAS90 5-user system (V4.3) who recently purchased a new IP phone system from Cisco. When they plug their MAS90 workstations into the phone for connectivity to the network server, MAS90 is un-useable. It is extremly slow, takes 2 minutes to even launch sign-in splash screen or to open any general task within MAS90.
When you remove network cable from IP phone and plug directly into network wall jack, everyhting is fine again. When we test the network throughput of speed through the phone, it is same as when connected through wall jack.
Cisco Phone models are as follows:
CP-7962G (Mfg. Part Number) - Cisco UC Phone 7962
CP-7942G (Mfg. Part Number) - Cisco UC Phone 7942
Has anyone experienced or solved something like this? Thanks in advance.
Keith

We use MAS200 v4.30 with the Cisco IP Phone model 7941 with no lag. In your case it might be because MAS90 sends the files to the work station so going through the phone might somehow slow things down. As this is only a 5 user system you might want to consider a 2 port hub at each work station with one port for the phone and one for the work station. If it works it is probably your cheapest solution.

I agree with BL.
I have an 8 port hub and I don't go through my phone.
Is there something in the phone setup that might be blocking traffic? I'd talk to your low voltage tech.
