Hello,
We just updated from MAS 3.4 to 4.5 and when we try to print preview a Sales Order the "Processing Work File Records" window displays and takes about 10-20 seconds to load and display the report.
MAS is installed on a Windows Server 2008 machine and is being ran on Windows 7 workstations through active directory.
I have done the following:
Turned off AV (ESET NOD 32)
Turned off Windows Firewall
Made sure all network cards were in Full Duplex Mode
Test Server to Workstation Connection - All tests were around 300-500mb read and write speeds
Un-installed all printers and drivers (read a forum where bad printer drivers were causing the issue, apparently not for us)
Any Ideas?

How quick is the report if you run it directly on the server?

It is fast from the server, which makes me believe it is either a ODBC connection, or an issue with Crystal reports...
i am not sure how to test the connection speeds of those connections though
Also, UAC is turned off

Are all WIN 7 connections slow or just one? Did you install the PU1 patch for v4.5?

All Windows 7 Connections are slow, I am not sure if I have the patch or not, but I will look into this asap...can you post a link to the patch download?

It looks like we do have the update as it was downloaded to our server by the business who installed the new MAS90. I am completely stumped

Has this form been modified in any way. Have you added graphics or other tables or fields? This will have an effect. And is this MAS90 or 200.

Yes, we do have a custom form with a graphic, I just read yesterday that this could have an affect on crystal's speed.
We are running MAS 90 v.4.50.1.0.
Is there any way I can create a "standard form" without having the business that installed the software creating the form? If you have a link to instructions I could follow that.

Why don't you just get the reseller that installed the system to assist you in troubleshooting the system?

I was going to try to work these issues out myself, due to time restraints and wanting to learn
