No printers available for TS users

We have approximately 50 users connecting to MAS200 v4.2 through terminal services.  Four users only see Deferred & Export/E-mail when printing though MAS. This occurs with both reports and forms.   The printers are available when printing from other TS applications.  We had their IT person remove any invalid printers.  IT also deleted one user's Windows profile, then set it back up again and the printers came back.  But as soon as the user logged out of TS and logged back in she lost the printers again.  Sage says it's either invalid printers or permissions.  IT says permissions are fine & it's a MAS issue.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Thanks in advance for your replies.

Re: No printers available for TS users

This is from the Knowledgebase - it has always been the solution for me.

If a Crystal form or report is selected, the user may have insufficient rights to the Sage MAS 200 data

folder on the server. Crystal Reports uses the UNC path to access data and requires sufficient network

permissions. Perform either of the following tests:

Verify the ODBC path in Sota.ini:

1. At the workstation, open Windows Explorer. Browse to ...\Mas90\Launcher\Sota.ini, and

open the file in Notepad.

2. Scroll to the

[Servers] section.

3. Copy the UNC path that displays after

Path=

4. Click the

Start button, and then click Run.

5. Paste the UNC path into the

Open field, and click OK. The folder should open in Windows

Explorer.

6. If an error or logon prompt displays, the path is either incorrect or restricted.

Verify the path in the SOTAMAS90 DSN:

Note:

The path in SOTAMAS90 should match the ODBC path in Sota.ini.

1. Click the

Start button. Point to Settings, Control Panel, Administrator Tools, and then

click

Data Sources (ODBC).

2. Select

SOTAMAS90, and click the Configure button.

3. Copy the path from in the

Database path field.

4. Click the

Start button, and then click Run. Paste the UNC path into the Open field, and

click

OK. The folder should open in Windows Explorer.

5. If an error or logon prompt displays, the path is either incorrect or restricted.

Re: No printers available for TS users

I verified that the users can access the MAS directory without any errors and the ODBC path was the same.  We're going to try to rerun wksetup this evening.  I will post the results.
