Operating system Windows 7 Ultimate / Mas 90 v.4.20

I am getting a new computer-

 

Operating System-Genuine Windows 7 ultimate,64bit,English

Studio XPS 8100

 

How will it work for my Mas 90 v.4.20??

 

Do I need to look for something special?

 

I will be copying my files from Window XP-Professional.

 

Any comments will be appreciated.

I believe only 4.3 and 4.4 are supported with Windows 7.

It should work in "XP Mode".

 

I've got a test machine on Win7 that I've successfully installed my MAS200 v4.05 workstation on.  I've done a fair amount of testing and all seems to be functioning well.

Based on the support matrix chart from Sage as of Dec 2009 Windows 7 is not supported.  below is the link

the Desktop that i am purchasing has a 64 bit processor. wondering if anyone has tested this out. would appreciate feedback.  thanks KI.
