Re: SQL Express 2005 Connectivity to MAS Using Views

Hi Brian,

Do you still have the screen shots available that you refer to in this post:

If so would you mind sharing them with me at j_energy@yahoo.com

It seems pretty strait forward but i would definitely feel comfortable reviewing the some screen shots of the process before getting started.

Thanks!

Re: SQL Express 2005 Connectivity to MAS Using Views

Could you please send me the screen shots of the SQL syntax used to create the new DSN and linked server to MAS?  I am having the same issues with creating a linked server and having the program hang up.  I am using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio but assume that the logic will be the same. My e-mail address is ginger.vrancic@ccisystems.com.   Thank you.

Me too! I'll post them here if you don't have Web space.

Re: SQL Express 2005 Connectivity to MAS Using Views

Please do post them here.  The wider internet has indexed these pages and I keep hoping to find the proper syntax for the sp_addlinked server... I find others with the same problem (hanging) ... but no solution!!   TIA!
