This indicates that there is either a missing program, missing task or corrupt program on your installation.  You might want to reinstall the V/I Module to see if that corrects the problem.  Be sure you have a backup before reinstalling just to be safe.

In addition to Kent's post, check to see if you have a "VI" folder under the "MAS90" folder.  Also, make sure you have proper rights to all the folders.

First go into Company Maintenance and make sure that the modules have been activated. The files are not created until then. You cannot create a company code and start importing away, I have seen people try this.  I am assuming this might be the case because you did not indicate system start up but rather a new company.

From Res 455042

Possible Workaround:

Enter the current version in VI_Options.M4T.

  1. Open Library Master / Utilities / Data File Display and Maintenance (DFDM).
  2. In the 'File Name' field, browse to and select ..\Mas90\\Mas_System\VI_Options.M4T.
  3. Click the 'Edit' button and select "3 - DataVersion" from the 'Field Number' drop-down box.
  4. In the 'Change' field, replace the version with the current version (for example, "4.05" to "4.10").

Just had this same problem on a fresh install, and had to change the table from 4.2 to 4.4. Then we were in and working.
