I've had several IT people balk at turning UAC off and leaving it off. They are ok with turning if off for wksetp setup but want to turn it back on afterwards and I never know how to really answer the question about it being ok. So i'm posing the question to all the gurus!
Once Wksetup is done, can UAC be turned back on and does it matter which setting in UAC they use?
If IT adds the server to the 'trusted intranet sites' does this sidestep the need to turn off UAC for workstation setup? If I still need to turn if off for wksetup, can UAC be turned back on afterwards if the server is added to the 'trusted intranet site'?
