Since the "change on next" option is not available in 4.4, I assume fields assigned to "Next" on the Data screen will be imported based on the change of data in an imported header field.
Is this a correct assumption?
For example, if you're importing sales orders, you set the sales order number to next. When V/I reads a header column (customer number, for example), V/I will assign the next sales order number when the customer number changes.
Thanks

It looks at the entire header. If VI see any differences in the header fields then it will increment the field with the "Next" designation..

Any suggestion of using similar to "change on next" on 4.4. version?
I need to create next sales order number when customer's PO change.
Thanks

You should be able to do that. When the P/O field changes, the next logic gives you the next S/O #.
