MAS 200 v 4.3.18

I am trying to run workstation setup on our first windows 7 machine (it is 32 bit) and the workstation setup keeps locking up.

After waiting a long time, I ended the installation and ran a system restore to start over on the install and it does the same thing every time.

The installation progress bar is full and it says "Sage MAS 200 Workstation is configuring your new software installation."

I tried running the install from the wksetup file on our server and tried using the workstation setup from the mas cd....

Any thoughts on what could be wrong and preventing th install from working??

Did you run the setup "as administrator"?  Right-Click "Run As Administrator".

I just tried that.  I was hopeful that this would work, but no luck....

Any other ideas?

which version of windows 7 are you running?

I finally got this working.

There was something corrupt in my user profile.  I first did a system restore to a time before my attempt at installing MAS (I had to do this each time I tried a new fix).   I deleted the user profile from the local computer when logged into another user's account, then I installed MAS, and then logged back in with the main account to re-create the profile.

Hope this helps anyone who might ever have this problem too.
