Hi all.

We have an import job that uses a SQL table as it's data source. The table contains 3 fields: SalesOrderNumber, OrderStatus and Imported. The VI job updates the OrderStatus for the SalesOrderNumbers in the table.

I want to be able to update the Imported field whenever the VI job updates the OrderStatus for each record. I was thinking this would occur in the OrderStatus field --> Perform button--> Perform On: A - After Assign

But I have no idea how I can do this. Would this be through a batch file? If so, does anyone have any examples on how I can do this?

I believe you can do this via business objects interface quite easily.

Is BOI available directly in MAS or do I need to contact a business partner?

If you are on version 4.30 or higher, it's built right into the product.  If you are on version 4.40, then the object reference is built right into the file layouts guide.

Oh ok. We're on v4.05, so we'll have to wait until we upgrade.

There use to be a way to do this. The legandry Slade use to have this posted on a web page. Maybe one of the old timers on here saved the info and can help out.
