My first client upgrade from 4.2 to 4.4. It seems the begining balances for the oldest year is gone. Had to journal entry after the conversion to correct. Watch out for that.
This happened to us as well. I did find that after you convert to 4.4 if you then copy the old 4.2 GLXXX directory over the newly converted one and reconvert GL the balances are there. Not sure why and not sure if it is time effective or not.
