ms office license on cloud server

Hi,

 

We were considering having our server off site on a cloud . MAS90 4.4  Saw a demo of how it would work and noticed all excel icons were greyed out in MAS.  I guess that's because excel wasn't installed on the cloud server (It was on my pc).

My question is if it needs to be on the server, is a one user license sufficient there.  We would want all users to be able to export into excel.  Hope this question makes sense?

Yes, it will need to be installed on the server. I'm not sure how many licenses would need to be purchased or if 1 would be sufficient.
