I have linked the Abra Attendance to MAS90 and when the check register is updated, you see the prompt for the Abra transfer log for attendance entries, but it is empty.  Can anyone suggest what is wrong ?  I have linked everything correctly on the Abra side and there does not appear to be any linking to be done in MAS90.

What version of Abra Attendance and what is the link version?

Abra version 9.1106 and the Link version is 4.23.  Thanks for the response.

Did you set up the mapping in the MAS link?

Yes, everything is set up, both at the Employer code mapping where you elect to interface the Attendance, indicate what earnings types  and also at the Absence reason/Earnings codes.  It is MAS 4.4 SP7.

What is the workstation OS that you are trying running this from?  If WIN 7, do you have an XP that you could run it on?  The link won't work in a WIN 7 64 OS environment.

Troubleshooting these links are hit or miss - and that is before you try to get tech support involved!!!!!  Without fail, whoever you call first will say that it is the other program's issue and will try to dump you off.  Stick to you guns and make them initiate a conference call to pull in the other side.  It is THEIR problem, not yours!!!  In theory, the link is a good idea.  Getting it to operational is still a work in process.  Five years ago, I asked for the ability to map UDF's between system, to allow for the ability to add an insurance deduction in HR without it immediately transferring to MAS PR but rather on the Abra effective date and several other "basic" enhancements.  Still waiting...........................

Thank you so much for the advice.  I was not aware that the link would not work on Win 7.  I will try it on an XP station, I would not have guessed that this could be the issue!

I believe it will work on WIN 7 32 OS, just not the 64 version.  But then again, maybe it doesn't work on WIN Server 2008 64 OS (which is where it failed for me).
