Our client is starting to have jobs in Denver and are asking me the best way to track this tax. It is a flat amount per month, on employees that earn over a certain amount in that month. I believe they need it to show on the W2's, so we need to set it up as a local tax, I'm assuming. The problem I see is that the local taxes are set up as percentages, and there is no "Monthly" option (Daily, Weekly, and Annual only.)
How do the folks in Denver using mas90 deal with this?

Wow! Googled the info. Interesting tax. Not sure there is any absolute automatic/perfect solution.
Would probably set up the employee w/h part as a standard deduction.
The employer part would probably have to be set up like and employer contribution (deduction maintenance).
Then you would have to watch each employee that is close to $500 in wages each month to make sure that they should or should not be subject.
Would be interested to hear from those in Denver.

The best solution often comes not from answering the question asked, but understanding WHY the question was asked.
