Let me start by saying I hope everyone has been doing well. Business and Family has been great for me. I've been to busy to visit and play.
I was hoping someone has a breif Explanation and setup guide for the MAS90 Direct Deposit functionality when interface "None is selected?
Any articles would be greatly appreciated.\

You can setup everyone for Direct Deposit, you just won't have a process for creating the NACHA file to send to the bank. Some banks don't require that and you can get by with a Crystal Report (yes, we're talking small home-town banks here). Or some have the ability to type in the amounts each week on their web site. Either way, you end up with no check for the employee and need some way to get the dollar amounts to their bank account.

I assumed with Interface "None" that no file was transmitteed; but my client doesn't want the employees bank info in Mas90.
Does anyone know a way to make Direct Deposit work properly without entering bank routing info or using dummy account numbers?

Set up the DD as a deduction code instead of Dir Dep - 100% of Net.

If you don't know there bank routing info, how are you going to get the money to deposit into their accounts?
What is your client trying to do?

Its called Securing your employees personal information. If you don't need to have the information on your system then you shouldn't. That is the best way to avoid a rouge employee, virus's, trojans, malware, and hackers! Anyways, I did not say we didn't have the information.

Beth,
I'm not quite following you. If you set it up as a deduction code with 100% of net then it won't print a check because its a 0 amount which is fine; but, since it wouldn't be setup as a Dir. Dep. it won't print a stub either. Or am I missing a setting somewhere.

Client was very pleased.
For all employees, we used a valid Bank routing number 000000013 which has no matching institution and an account Number 000000013.
The Direct deposit stubs printed perfectly although it contained the dummy routing numbers; but that was just fine by the employees.
Checked the Bank Routing number at http://www.routingnumbers.org/ and http://www.quentinsagerconsulting.com/utilities/ab
Thanks for your input Beth.
