TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

I have a client in search of a solution that will allow importing time and attendance data into Timecard.  This would include a recommendation on hardware ( timeclocks, punch cards, etc.) and any software that will present data usable for VI import.  Thanks.

Re: TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

Bill,

I am currently looking into the same thing and am leaning towards the Pyramid TimeTrax EZ

Thanks,

Re: TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

We use InfoTronics' (www.infotronics.com) Attendance Enterprise software with InfoTronics' clocks to import payroll data into MAS 200 Payroll via VI.

Doug....

I have been looking for some info as to how others are doing their imports via VI.  What information are you importing?  Hours, Times or Pay Totals?

Thanks,

Re: TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

Lonny,

Our import CSV file consists of hours, MAS employee no. (with associated MAS payroll department number in a separate field), time system badge no., pay type, and dollars (if not hours-related (e.g., bonus)).

Re: TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

Doug,

Thanks for the Reply.  In the days since I have decided to go with TimeClock Plus SBE by Data Management Inc.  They have a number of different software solutions and hardware to match.  All of their software is configured to export and import from MAS.  The VI jobs are supposed to be installed with the software.

We opted for a software only setup and will dedicate a PC to be used as a Timeclock (I will be experimenting with a android tablet as well).

I will relay my experiences here at some point in the near future as we impliment this software.

Thanks,

Lonny

Re: TimeCard Time clock hardware solutions

We also opted for a software only time tracking system.

From my experience, I think it is the most efficient system to use nowadays. It's very flexible and organizes everyone's work hours very well. We have employees who work remotely and we can still use it. It has a web server that stores all the information so we can access the reports anywhere and anytime.

I think it's a really great productivity tool too.
