To start off, I've already looked at this resolution 503092. Which basically blames security rights on the service set up.
This error happens when trying to access any form in Federal Efiling and Reporting from a workstation. MAS 200 Version 4.3 SU 17.
Windows 2008 server (which is now supported - yea!).
Already made sure not using a local account. Using the network administrator domain account. Even tried a user that should have full access.
The security rights are wide open in any event.
If you attempt to run at the server, everything works perfectly which I would think! From a workstation the error occurs. Can't try an administrator log in at the workstation, because they are not active domain and it just won't let you log in as the administrator (even though it says that it exists).
Have uninstalled and reinstalled workstations for both MAS 90 and Federal Efiling and Reporting. Reinstalled MAS 200 at the server. Applied the little patch for printing 941 forms after su 17 (now at least that works).
The odd thing is that it worked prior to a transfer from a 2003 server to the 2008 server, so I assume it has something to do with that.
Anyone seen this or has any idea of what I might try next? I'm out of ideas.

When you say form, do you mean MAS window form or MAS Crystal Report form?
You say you checked all security settings; but did you check the share security settings?

Federal Efiling and Reporting in payroll - period end menu. Absolutely nothing to do with crystal.
Yup. First thing I did was to check the share and the security. Looks absolutely wide open for any MAS user as far as I can see.
Hmm, wonder if the company option for allow external access is checked? Or whether it even makes a difference? Seems logical that it would have to be.

Tom,
I'm sure your aware but there are 2 different security settings on a shared directory. One is the file and individual folder level and the second governs the share itself. You did check both locations correct?
