We are looking for suggestions for anti-virus software. Currently use Symantec, but have had problems. We are a small office of 10 users, with 2 outside users (thru terminals service), most-up-to-date hardware,etc... Was given a recommendation of Viper, but after looking into it there may be problems with MAS90. Any suggestions? Thank you!

We use Symantec with no issues, what sort of problems have you been having? I would suggest having your reseller contact Chris Powers at Sage for tips on how to set up Symantec. He use to give a session at the Sage Summit on how to setup Anti-Virus in relationship to MAS.

I think the main thing is to have you antivirus programs set up to skip the MAS90 directory when performing its scanning. If you use alternate directories, you would want to have it skip that directory as well.

We use Symantec too. Also, all our clients do too. No issues. It just needs to be setup properly.

We have a lot of clients on Trend Mirco. We moved most of them from Symantec when they had a few issues with their software. That was about 4 or so years ago. They have since fixed a lot of the issues they had. So if you are looking for an alternative to Symantec I would suggest Trend Micro.
Check out AV Comparatives for some others that you might want to look at.
