MAS 200 ver 4.30. I am importing POs from a .csv file with Vendor#, Item Code, qty Ordered. There are about 50 lines. If I use NEXT for PO Number then each line gets a separate PO #. I need only one PO # for same vendor and change to next number when Vendor changes. Any ideas will be appreciated.

The design is for VI to compare all values on the previous row imported to the current one being imported to determine when to perform the break / write between documents.  I remember we had issues with getting the next number to work correctly. I am not sure if we tested this logic specifically in PO, but I am sure we did in SO (which should be a mirror image of PO).

Customer support should be able to provide you with a sample import of this.  If you can't get one from there let me know and I will see if I can dig you up one.
